You will find that most vinyl lettering is weather proof to some extent. The question becomes how long will the vinyl last outdoors in the weather? When you're comparing cast to intermediate vinyl the cast will generally last longer outdoors. When vinyl sticks to a surface a water proof seal is created around the edges of the material. This seal protects the adhesive keeping it away from the water allowing the bond to stay strong. When the adhesive breaks down that is when you begin to see failures. This can occur faster or slower depending on conditions such as humidity and temperature.
All of our outdoor 751 vinyl is weather proof for up to 8 years outdoors and in some cases even longer than that. Look for a long life out of our product!
